MECHANISM

Lipolysis

Lipolysis is the breakdown of triglycerides in adipose tissue, driven by hormone-sensitive lipase activation downstream of cAMP elevation. GH-axis peptides (tesamorelin) preferentially target visceral adipose. Glucagon-receptor agonism (the third arm of retatrutide) also drives hepatic lipid mobilization.
