Matrixyl-3000 combines two matrikine peptides (palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7) that signal collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis. SNAP-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3) extends the Argireline sequence by two residues for stronger SNARE-complex inhibition.
