Anti-Aging Skin Trio
Goal · Multi-mechanism dermal collagen + wrinkle reduction research.
The Anti-Aging Skin Trio combines three topical cosmetic peptides targeting different layers of the dermal aging process. GHK-Cu (Gly-His-Lys + Cu²⁺) is the original copper-peptide identified in the 1970s, with documented collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis induction and a long evidence base. Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-8) is a SNAP-25 mimic that blocks SNARE-complex assembly at the neuromuscular junction, reducing the muscle contractions that drive dynamic expression-line wrinkles. Matrixyl-3000 (palmitoyl tripeptide-1 + palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7) is a matrikine peptide blend driving fibroblast collagen and GAG synthesis on a similar but distinct pathway from GHK-Cu. The three mechanisms (matrix induction by two routes plus dynamic-wrinkle reduction) are complementary; many commercial cosmetic formulations include all three.
COMPONENTS

Copper-peptide collagen + elastin + GAG induction (original mechanism)

SNARE-complex inhibition · dynamic wrinkle reduction

Matrikine collagen + GAG induction (palmitoylated fragments)
CYCLE FRAMING
8-12 weeks twice-daily topical application for measurable effect
RESEARCH NOTE
All three are topical cosmetic ingredients with no documented systemic absorption. No human RCT validates the specific three-component combination, but per-component evidence supports the complementary mechanism framing.
