WHAT WE COLLECT

PEPPUDEX is a research-reference site and collects the following categories of data.

Standard server log data (IP, user-agent, referrer, timestamp) for security and analytics, retained 30 days.
Analytics data collected by Google Analytics (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity on every page, including page views, session behavior, and (via Clarity) session recordings and heatmaps. See ANALYTICS below.
Event data (page viewed, link clicked, compound viewed) that may include your IP address, user-agent, and referrer at the time of the event, logged for internal monitoring. See ANALYTICS below.
No account creation, no purchase flow, no personally identifying data form.
Calculator input (vial mg, BAC mL, target dose) is processed client-side only and never transmitted to our servers.

COOKIES

PEPPUDEX sets first-party analytics cookies. Google Analytics (GA4) sets the _ga cookie (and related GA cookies) to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. Microsoft Clarity sets its own first-party cookies to support session recording and heatmap analysis. Vercel may also set a small number of operational cookies for routing and performance. No third-party advertising cookies are used. No Facebook pixel.

ANALYTICS

We run Google Analytics (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity on every page. GA4 measures page views, route usage, and aggregate visitor behavior. Clarity records session behavior and generates heatmaps to help us understand how the site is used. Both are loaded on every page visit, not opt-in.

We also run a lightweight first-party event tracker that logs page views, clicks, and searches to an internal monitoring channel. Each event may include your IP address, user-agent, and referrer at the time of the event. This data is used for security monitoring and to understand how the site is used. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, and is not combined with any purchase or account data because PEPPUDEX has neither.

Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights are not currently wired into this site. If that changes, this section will be updated.

NO PII SALE

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. We never have, and the business model does not depend on it.

GDPR / UK GDPR RIGHTS

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, port, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because the site collects minimal personal data, most requests will return “no record found.” Contact [email protected] for any request.

Legal basis for processing the limited server-log data is “legitimate interest” (Article 6(1)(f)) for security monitoring.

CCPA / CPRA RIGHTS

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information. Contact [email protected] for any request.

CHILDREN

PEPPUDEX is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We will update this policy as the site evolves. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
